Shandy, Travis and I packed up the truck and decided that we we're going to go to Bryce Canyon for a much needed vacation. We had been planning for months, getting everything ready, and taking the time off work. We left Spanish Fork around 11 am on Thursday and got to Bryce Canyon around 5 pm.
Friday morning around 11 am we went out walking to check out Bryce Canyon. Drove out to the Rainbow Bridge and seen every look out spot there was.
Boy, was it gorgeous! But I was starting to feel that once you seen it every other spot looked the same. After we went back to the resort. Shandy and I took a nap and Travis of course made friends with the only other Redneck out there. It turns out it was the Forest Ranger and their Bro-mance started. Seriously we can't take him anywhere without him finding a friend.
We made dinner and later that night as we were roasting marshmallows we were told that we had to be quite 2 minutes after 10 by another camper. Then of course Travis said something funny and had me laughing so hard I couldn't stop. The camper next to us SSSSHHHHHHsed us. I couldn't believe it. How dare you have fun on vacation.

Saturday morning we woke up and decided that we were going to go for a drive. We went through Capitol Reef into Escalante, Torrey and into Boulder where Shandy wanted to stop at a museum and look around. As we were driving up I decided to open my mouth about Hell's Backbone and how there's a bridge you can go to. I think I said once or twice that I had never been to the bridge so I didn't really know what it was like or anything.

Travis decided that's how we were going to go home. So we did... Here's what I would've seen had I been brave enough to open my eyes. I'm very much afraid of heights. So I sat in the middle of the truck with my eyes closed most of the drive.
Thank heavens Travis is nice enough to snap a few pictures for me. All of us didn't think this was the right bridge otherwise we would've gotten more pictures.
When we got back to camp around 6:30pm we just relaxed around the fire for a little while, then I went into the tent for some alone time, wasn't feeling all that hot. Then I heard hey Travis how are you doing. Travis's bro-mance came by and to say hi. Of course hearing this I had yell across our resort at Shandy and find out for sure if it was Adam or not. Good thing Travis has a great sense of humor because Adam was not a bad looking guy. We should've snagged his phone number for Shandy. Oh and Adam told us to be as loud as we wanted within reason of course. I guess it's a good thing Travis can make friends with everyone and anyone we find.
Sunday morning we woke up and finished packing up and hit the road for the unwanted drive home. Going on vacation was so needed and so relaxing. Here's the last few pictures of Bryce Canyon.
