On August 28, 2010 we had a Open House for the Strasburg side of the family & friends. A couple nights before I went and helped Shandy & Sarah get ready for the big day. Helped them make chocolates shaped as baby animals, they turned out so cute and cupcakes of course. That morning when I got there I helped frost the cupcakes while we were waiting for people to get there. I'm surprised Shandy let me help because she had been saying that I should be resting. Which makes me laugh because the whole time I've been pregnant I've felt great.
We had a great time. I received some really awesome stuff and I got to meet a lot of new people and seen a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We really didn't really get to many pictures, because with family everyone starts talking which was fine by me. Jeannine was so excited about the baby socks and shoes, it was funny to watch how excited she got.
I got a lot of cute clothes and many blankets. I don't know if he's going to be able to wear everything, before he's to big for it. And if this child ever gets cold then we might have an issue. Whyatt also got some wonderful noise makers. Of course Travis says that he's going to take out the noise makers so he doesn't have to listen to them.
You would think that based on the bag and the wonderful bow that Sue was grandma... though she isn't I would have to say she was probably just as excited. She was so funny just to watch her
explain how much fun she had picking everything out.I want to say Thank You so very much for everyone who took time out of their day to spend time with our family. I'm so grateful for everything. I look forward to letting Whyatt get to know everyone that loves him. I can't believe that the time has flown by as fast as it has.
